Tuesday Evening Social No need to make plans for after your arrival on Tuesday. We’ve got you covered! Our evening social is the perfect time to get to know KHCHA provider members in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. From 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Tuesday evening at the Marriott, join us for heavy appetizers, beverages, and some “engineered” fun! Roundtable Session This latest addition to our Annual Conference will provide a dedicated time for providers to share their challenges and their successes with other providers. We will offer nine different roundtables on nine different topics, with a facilitator at each table. Participants will pick three topics, spending 20 minutes at each. As a business partner, we acknowledge that your participation at our roundtables could be beneficial to you and our providers, so we invite you to attend! Watch your e-mail for your copy. Our Conference App KHCHA will be utilizing a mobile conference app (Yapp) to share information and communicate with our participants. Where is the conference being held? Our conference will be held at the Wichita Marriott Hotel, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive, Wichita, Kansas. What about sleeping rooms for the conference? The Wichita Marriott, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive, Wichita, Kansas, has reserved a block of rooms at the special KHCHA rate of $123 per night (Standard room: 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds, tax not included). Reservations through our room block must be received on or by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, September 3, 2024. After this date, the Marriott will accept reservations based on a space- and rate- available basis. Reservations can be made ONLINE or by calling the hotel directly at 316-651-0333. Remember to mention the Kansas Home Care & Hospice Association Annual Conference when reserving your room(s) by phone. Where can I ship my display materials? If you plan to ship display materials please see the shipping instructions from the Marriott Hotel. How do I make arrangements to have electricity at my space? If you have particular display needs, including electrical, you must complete the Marriott Hotel request form at least two weeks prior to the conference.
What is the size of my exhibit space? You will be provided with a 6’ x 30” draped table in the exhibit hallway. Space behind and between exhibit booths will be minimal.
What is my exhibit booth number? KHCHA does not make booth assignments until two weeks prior to the conference. You may contact Kristen at 785-478-3640 or kada@kshomecare.org at a later date to receive your number.
Where do I go upon arrival? When you arrive, use the conference center entrance. The pre-convene area has been designated as the exhibit hall this year. Conference booths are assigned approximately 2 weeks prior to the Annual Conference. Signs showing your company name will point out your assigned booth. At your booth, you will find your nametags and additional reminders for the conference.
What time can I set up my exhibit? Official set-up time will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. We encourage you to have your table set up by 10:45 a.m. Designated exhibition time will continue until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by our roundtable session (which we encourage you to attend), and then the door prize giveaway at 3:15 p.m. (See the exhibit schedule below for more information.)
What time can I dismantle my exhibit? Exhibition tables may be dismantled after 3:45 pm on Wednesday. Exhibitors’ activities conclude with our door prize giveaway beginning at 3:15 p.m. in the afternoon session ballroom. Please join the fun by sticking around! Can I attend conference workshops? Exhibitors will be admitted to the workshops as observers only. If you desire CNE credits, you will need to register for individual workshops in advance. Full workshop details and registration information is available on the KHCHA website, www.kshomecare.org/annual-meeting.
What do I need to do to attend the luncheons? Participating exhibitors receive one complimentary luncheon ticket for Wednesday. Additional tickets are available for purchase. If you indicated on your registration form that you plan to use your complimentary ticket and/or purchased additional tickets, your ticket(s) will be provided at your booth at the conference. If you did not already request luncheon tickets and would like to do so, tickets may still be reserved by contacting Kristen at 785-478-3640 or kada@kshomecare.org. However, as an accurate count is necessary to guarantee food and seating, you must reserve your tickets by Friday, September 13.
When is the exhibitor door prize giveaway and what sorts of gifts are typically given? The door prize giveaway will take place Wednesday from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. in the afternoon session ballroom. We’ve seen all kinds of prizes given – gift baskets, exhibitor products, gift cards… prizes need not be elaborate – even small items are lots of fun!
