Meet the Speakers
Chris Gallarneau is a Senior Education Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in the hospice industry in a variety of leadership roles. His areas of consulting expertise include hospice education, healthcare operations, healthcare sales and marketing, and leadership development. Prior to his arrival at MAC Legacy, Chris worked in the senior housing/long-term care industry and the correctional healthcare setting; however, he found his passion with the ministry of hospice and the professionals that deliver care at the end-of-life. In addition to working as a consultant to healthcare providers to improve the patient care model and increase employee satisfaction, Chris travels to attend and speak at healthcare and business conferences to gain new insights and inspire others. Chris currently serves as a Member of NHPCO’s Next Generation Leadership Council, and he is a CHAP and ACHC Certified Consultant.
Angela Huff, RN, is a Senior Managing Consultant with Forvis Mazars, LLP and provides consulting services to home care and hospice clients. With over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, she has spent the last 20 years in executive leadership in home health, hospice operations, and software development in the post-acute space, including performing operations improvement assessments and compliance-focused reviews of home health and hospice documentation, including audits and appeals related to the OIG and program integrity contractors.
Registration Fees
- KHCHA Members: $100
- Non-Members: $200
The registration fee covers one individual and one continuing education (CE) certificate (if applicable). Multiple site participation from individuals within your agency will require separate registration. For example: if your agency has paid for 1 participating registration but 3 people from your agency would like to attend (and receive CE credit), your agency will need to pay a separate registration fee for all 3 participants. In addition, if your agency has sent in 1 registration but 3 people from your agency register through the Zoom link, your agency will be invoiced the registration fee for the additional 2 registrations. The handouts will be emailed to you to the email address you provide.

Additional Details
Prior to the webinar, you will receive a Zoom confirmation email which will include a join link to access the webinar, a dial-in number and an access code to listen in via telephone. You will also be sent any pertinent handouts if available.
Following the webinar, a link to the recording will be emailed to registrants. The recording will be available for 30 days.
Continuing Education
This educational activity is eligible for 2.0 nurse contact hours. The Association for Home & Hospice Care of NC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Cancellations
Fees will be refunded only if written cancellation is received prior to the workshop webinar link being sent to your agency. In the event of a written cancellation, KHCHA will retain or charge $25 of the initial registration fee to cover administrative overhead.
