Medicare Advantage Plans may or may not have changes in 2020 in regard to PDGM. Medicare Advantage Plans that pay agencies episodically will eventually convert to RAPs and Finals being required every 30 days instead of 60. This webinar will cover details regarding the actual billing changes that will need to occur under PDGM. This webinar will discuss the ins and outs of dealing with Medicare Advantage plans, including authorizations, codes for claims and dealing with intermediaries when trying to get paid by Medicare Advantage Plans.

- Detail the changes to the billing process under PDGM for Medicare Advantage.
- Detail the specifics of successfully collecting under the Medicare Advantage program.
- Review the process from Intake through to billing for successful Medicare Advantage billing and collections.
Presenter: Melinda A. Gaboury, with more than 27 years in home care, has over 17 years of executive speaking and educating experience, including extensive day to day interaction with home care and hospice professionals. She routinely conducts Home Care and Hospice Reimbursement Workshops and speaks at state association meetings throughout the country. Melinda has profound experience in Medicare PPS training, billing, collections, case-mix calculations, chart reviews and due diligence. ZPIC, RA, ADR & TPE appeals with all Medicare MACs have become the forefront of Melinda’s current impact on the industry. She is currently serving on the NAHC/HHFMA Advisory Board as ex-officio and is Associate Director on the Home Care Association of Florida Board of Directors. Melinda is also the author of the Home Health OASIS Guide to OASIS-D.

Webinar Recording: You will be sent the recording link following the presentation and it will be available for 2 weeks following the webinar. The webinar format allows a concise and low-cost format plus the additional bonus of having access to the materials for 2 weeks and provides additional flexibility to ensure everyone from your agency has an opportunity to access the information.
Registration: The registration deadline is February 24. Registrations may not be shared between agencies – the agency’s registration covers the access of only one phone line/computer access to the webinar. Multiple site participation for your agency will require a separate registration fee for each connection. Please note: if your agency has sent in 1 registration but 3 people from your agency register through the Zoom link, your agency will be invoiced for the additional 2 registrations. The handouts will be emailed to you to the email address you provide. Please feel free to provide an additional email address as a backup.
