** Proposal Submission Form **
The Kansas Home Care & Hospice Association is announcing a Call for Presentations for its 2025 Education Agenda. KHCHA offers numerous educational opportunities throughout the year for our members, including a 3-day annual conference, multiple webinars, and two or more additional conferences. These programs are designed to offer administrators, supervisors, financial managers, clinicians and support staff an opportunity to learn more about new developments in home health and hospice care, effective management strategy, innovative programs and new regulatory changes. If you have a program that you feel would be applicable to our members, we invite you to submit a presentation proposal.
More details on each type of educational conference follow, as well as information on submitting your proposal. If you have any questions, please contact KHCHA’s Executive Director, Kristen Ada, at 785/478-3640. We appreciate your interest.
Conferences
The 2025 KHCHA Annual Conference will be held September 16-18, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lawrence, Kansas. We plan to offer 13 workshops over 3 days, with each workshop lasting from 1 to 1.5 hours. The workshops are divided among tracks: home health agency management, hospice agency management, and leadership. Our Annual Conference will also host approximately 20 exhibitors, and we anticipate 75-100 participants.
KHCHA offers multiple webinars each year. Being cost-effective and convenient, this format of education has become popular with our membership. Our webinars typically last 60-90 minutes and attract audiences of 5 to 50 sites.
Finally, KHCHA offers at least two additional one to two-day conferences each year. These conferences are held at different locations across Kansas or virtually. Individual workshops at these conferences can range from 1 to 7 hours, and participation runs from 30 to 70 people depending on the location and topic.
All proposals must be submitted using the KHCHA proposal form. The form is available here.
Deadline: To be considered as a presenter for the 2025 Annual Conference, your proposal must be received by Friday, February 28, 2025. All others will be accepted throughout the year.
