ICD-10-CM Boot Camp
April 9 and 10, 2014
Presented from Overland Park
to 10 ITV sites across Kansas

presented by
Patricia Tulloch, RN, BSN, MSN, HCS-D, AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM Trainer

Program Abstract -
Be confident with your ICD-10 Transition Plan!  CMS has confirmed that all health care providers will transition to ICD-10-CM on October 1, 2014.  This transition will expand diagnoses code assignment from just 13,000 codes to over 68,000 codes.  Increased diagnosis code precision will better accommodate ongoing medical advances across all settings, and further verify the internal consistency of health assessment and documentation data vital for accurate reimbursement.

Ensure success with your transition to ICD-10.  This fast paced interactive program will provide hands-on code activities to ensure staff have the required expertise to smoothly convert to this advanced practice code set.

This two-day Boot Camp provides the training and tools to enhance code accuracy for home care and hospice. Tools and tips are included to ensure success with your ICD-10 transition.
