Webinar Overview:  

As part of the CY 2021 Final Rule, the Home Infusion Therapy benefit will be finalized and will go into effect January 1, 2021. This new benefit provides coverage for professional services associated with drugs infused in the home on a pump that is an item of a DME. Join us for an overview of the final rule as it relates to the Home Infusion Therapy services benefit and learn the details of this new benefit and how it could impact your agency.

Sharon Litwin is a founder and senior managing partner of 5 Star Consultants, a national consulting and education firm specializing in homecare services.  She is an RN, with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a Master’s in Health Administration.  Sharon has been in the homecare industry for over twenty-five years. Prior to founding 5 Star Consultants sixteen years ago, she was executive director of the homecare services division for the Sisters of Mercy St Louis division. Sharon is also a former ACHC surveyor, and a former CHAP surveyor, performing Medicare deemed surveys.  In her consulting firm, she assists agencies in providing quality, meeting regulations, and achieving financial viability.
